Back in Action
Coming at you from the new digs

Merry Christmas from our gingerbread house to yours!

The Trench
The pool has been green for several weeks and after lots of shock to the water and fiddling with the filter and pump, Matt has deduced that the pump and the breaker box are no longer connected. So welcome Mr. Trench to our backyard.

Tyler and Collin got in on the digging action.

This is his paparazzi pose.
The pool is on its way to returning to a refreshing blue color just in time for winter to arrive in Phoenix.

This one's for you, Mark!
No one told us when we moved into our neighborhood in Phoenix that we would have the BEST neighbors in the world! They welcomed us warmly and have been there when we have needed them. Mark is one especially friendly, fantastic neighbor. He is the neighborhood cook, bartender, and photographer. He has taken about a million pictures of us and wants to see them on our blog. So here are the latest...
Mark and Colleen were getting ready for a garage sale. We were checking out their stuff. Yes, that's me in a Darth Vader mask that we now own. And Mike strumming a toy guitar that we now own. Tyler and Collin have definately benefitted from having Austin, Mark's son, as a neighbor.

Tyler and Collin tried on these great hats. And yes, we now own them.

Thanks Mark, Colleen, and Austin for all the great stuff!!!
We love you!

Summer 08
So thanks to Sarah, I realized I could put my memory card right into the computer to get the pictures. SO EASY!!! Since our camera died, I haven't been able to access these pictures and always meant to take the memory card to Costco, but always forget. So here they are! Pictures from our week in the San Jaun Islands on Orizaba.

Ha Ha Dr. John! I'm driving your boat!

Tyler really wants to help out now. His job is to tie up the bumpers.

Camping at Ft. Stevens
Eating Grammy's pancakes, quite possibly their favorite part of the trip!
And this is where my camera died. RIP Panasonic DMC-FX07

Who is this kid???
Today we went to Toys R Us to get a birthday present for a friend. We took the opportunity to walk around and get ideas for Christmas. Every toy Tyler looked at was followed by an "Oh ya, Dude! You betcha!" He must be a cross between a California surfer and an old Minnesota farmer. Cowabunga Uff-da Dude!

Famtastic Fall Fun!
We just spent the week in Portland for John and Angie's wedding. No wedding pics here, but if you want a sneak peek check out it out at http://honeysucklephotography.blogspot.com/. It was a great day!!! As for our time in Portland, we could not have asked for better weather! We spent a morning playing in leaves and a morning at the Pumpkin patch. Here are a few of my favorite pics taken from my cheapy disposable camera. We still don't have a working digital camera.

Just a Friendly Warning:
Lately Collin has been very interested in lifting the tail of this poor dog and pointing out where the pee and poop come from. So you might think twice about shaking hands with him the next time you see him!

Tyson, we are so lucky you are such a patient dog! The boys stick their fingers into the orifices of your body, sit and stand on you, and tease you with food yet you don't bite, nip or growl at them. You are such a good dog despite the fact that you bark like a ninny when we are swimming in the pool and you steal food off of the counter when we are not looking.

First Day of School
Tyler is now in the 4's class and goes to school 4 days a week. He is loving it!!! He has made many new friends including a girl named Leela who he plays princesses with. Hmmm....
Apparently she likes cars, too. Collin was supposed to go two days a week, but he cried the whole 3 hours for his first two days so.....
he is officially a
Preschool Dropout!
