Happy St. Patty's Day!!

We celebrated by making green cupcakes, green pancakes and green applesauce.

One Old Lady's Trash is a Little Boy's Treasure

The city of Phoenix does a bulk trash pick-up 4 times a year. People leave huge piles of trash in the street that the city will pick up, no questions asked. Ours and our neighbors pile was all yard debris. Our neighbors sons were helping an elderly neighbor clean out her yard and garage. The boys put this doll house in the pile so Collin and I snatched it up. He loves it!! All of his little people, weebles and trains live in the house.

Bike helmet? It's always important to be safe!

The Furminator

Are the Cottonwood trees blooming? Did a Golden Retriever explode in your yard? No, it's just Tyson shedding. Now that it is time for Tyson to shed his winter coat, we finally got ourselves a Furmintor. It is the BEST deshedding tool! Worth every penny!

That's only part of the hair. The rest is blowing down the street. Sorry dear neighbors!! Better outside than in my bed, hiding under furniture or lurking in corners! My vacuum cleaner and sinuses are thankful!
Transportation Day

Collin took his favorite form of transportation to see all the vehicles.

Getting to know a police horse

Safety first

Checking out a rescue helicopter
Tyler's favorite was the Jelly Belly Bus because they gave out free jelly beans. The boys had a great time and I am proud to say that we had nothing to do with the cat adoption bus rolling off into the desert! (no people or cats were hurt when a kid let off the parking brake)
