Father's Day Weekend

Budding Artist
It seems Collin has had a little mishap with the sidewalk chalk OR is it supposed to be window chalk. Lately, he has been drawing with chalk on the back windows. It sure beats the wall next to back door which used to be is choice location for his artist expression.
All Aboard!!
Tyler and Grammy took the train home from Seattle. Apparently, it is the latest greatest thing to do considering the price of gas. Tyler said that he was going to race me home in the train. He says he won, but Collin and I really made it back to Portland before them despite taking an unplanned tour of downtown Seattle and Capital Hill trying to find I-5. Darn those Mariners games anyway!

Seattle Race Weekend
Matt had a sailing race in Seattle last weekend so we packed up our stuff and Grammy and headed for Seattle to play. We went to the Seattle Aquarium, Pike Street Market, and the Seattle Center. Our day started out rough with a dead battery in the car, but AAA saved the day! The weather was perfect making last Saturday a picture perfect Seattle day!
Aquarium
Amy, Sam and Lucy met us at the Aquarium.

Whoa boys! Hang on to that Orca's fin!

Thank you Grammy for taking us to the Aquarium!

Monorail to Seattle Center

It was a good trip. Now it's time to head back to Portland!

Collin's Birthday Party
Tyler reaching in on Collin's cake...

Entertainment for the kids...
And entertainment for the adults...
Eric on his son's bike (Sam is 5, Eric is well over that).

Rain Rain Go Away!
Apparently, in other parts of the country it is nearly summer. Portland has not recieved that message. It's been raining and in the 50's -60's for most of the time we have been back. That's a cold winter day in Phoenix! Tyler and Collin are not bothered by it though. Here they are playing in the rain without shoes on. What would you expect with my boys though. Oh, and Collin has no pants on!

Happy Birthday Collin!
With Matt out of town on Collin's birthday, we celebrated with Grammy and Grandpa and John and Angie. We had dinner at the Laurelwood Pub then had cupcakes at John and Angie's house. A few weeks later we had a party with more family and friends but we forgot the camera. Oh well, there will be more birthdays!

The Elderly at The Dublin

Even years later, The Dublin still has not changed.
Why, you ask, were the elderly allowed to even enter such a place?
The band, man, the band.

Daddy's Socks

I know where these go, I just can't figure out how to get them on!!
Portland or Bust
We took four days to drive back to Portland from Phoenix. We stopped in Page, AZ and toured Antelope Canyon. The boys were too young to take a boat tour of Lake Powell. Boo Hoo. Antelope Canyon was cool though. We then went to Zion. Beautiful!! Drove straight though Nevada. We stayed the night in Bend and had breakfast with Matt's friend Shad. Then off to home! If feels great to be back! It's a little cold though....I am such a sissy now!
Zion National Park

Tyler was mad that he couldn't stick his head out of the window on the tour bus.

This was the only time they were both happy at the same time. But what boy wouldn't be happy throwing rocks into a river?

Collin wasn't feeling very well so he decided to stop for a rest.

Page, Arizona

Tour to Antelope Canyon

Collin stayed up for most of the night so he had a hard time staying awake.
